Pendant will hang around the sternum area, depending on the height of the person wearing it. These chains are delicate yet sturdy - they will handle the weight of a bulkier pendant (though I would personally recommend taking a look at the listing for my round foxtail chain to balance the size of a larger/heavier pendant).
