This chain style is called “round foxtail”, yet the links form more of a 4-sided look. Being square rather than flat, it is very sturdy and compliments thicker and heavier pendants, yet will still work very well with small pendants.

For a thinner, more delicate 30” chain, I would recommend checking out the flat cable chain or rolo chain listings.
